ElectriSound is honored to have designed and installed a new sound system for the historic St. Boniface church on Pittsburgh's North Side. St. Boniface Church - Wide Shot

After extensive planning and analysis ElectriSound selected a Xilica audio processor with touch screen and custom programmed the solution to provide a user friendly interface for limited use cases to make minor adjustments. We also programmed a series of administrative screens to allow quick access on-site for advanced adjustments by skilled engineers.

The processor is the heart of the system providing automixing, speaker processing, Dante audio and time alignment.

The speakers were carefully chosen from two different manufacturers to ensure coverage was full range and adequate but controlled to only the congregation. Due to the historic nature of the building the legacy speaker locations were reutilized with only slight modifications.

The leadership of Holy Wisdom had extensive input into the aesthetics of the design and chose colors and visual appearance of various key design elements. ElectriSound was able to work within these preferences for microphones and wiring placement. Although custom colors could be utilized for speakers, after much review simple black speakers were chosen for the historic background.

The system was processed, aimed and time aligned utilizing SMAARTlive and the DSP capabilities of the Xilica processor. Check out ElectriSound on Facebook.
